In 2003, DJ Simple Simon founded Supremacy Sounds. His dreams, aspirations, and visionary leadership have catapulted Supremacy Sounds into a globally recognized music and entertainment brand.

Creatively using Mixtapes as the platform to launch his career, Simon Nzau, aka DJ Simple Simon, has since become one of the most prominent, and globally recognized DJ’s of African descent. Born in Nairobi, Kenya in 1980, Simon began Deejaying at the age of 18, creating Mixtapes in his bedroom and then personally distributing the CD’s in the streets of Nairobi.

Influenced by other Reggae / Dancehall Dj’s in Nairobi, his unique, and fluid mixes such as Missile, and Industry Takeover quickly gained a huge following around the country, and abroad. This growing interest led to support from established entertainers in the United States who invited him to perform in a Summer Tour in 2010. Following a series of sell out shows in every state he visited, he was invited to Major events such as the annual U.S.A Rugby 7s that sees over 100,000 attendees from all over the world.

In 2012 he released the new Mixtape series BPM  – Beats per month which has recorded Over 3 million listeners. Simple Simon Facebook pages have a combined 1/2 a million followers who can be found in every continent around the world.

From his new base in Houston, Texas, Simple Simon has toured over 21 Countries and has clocked over 50 million DJ Travel Miles around the world. He has performed in UK, Australia, South Africa, Uganda, Qatar, Seychelles, Canada, U.S.A, and Dubai.

Simple Simon is also the Executive Producer of Africa’s premier Reggae & Dancehall video Mixtape Riddim Up™. Due to it’s success, Riddim up is a weekly televised TV show in Kenya. DJ Simple Simon is also the Principal Instructor at the Supremacy Sounds DJ Academy. An academy committed to giving back to the community by teaching aspiring DJ’s the skills and mastery that has separated Simple Simon From the rest.

In 2015, Simple Simon further solidified his Top Spot Among DJ elite – He was crowned Africans DJ of The Year , USA. The Awards ceremony held in Texas and hosted by AFRIMMA, An African Magazine serving Africans in the diaspora. The competition was fierce, but Simple Simon was the only Kenyan to collect victory. Other Kenyan nominees included Sauti Sol, Jaguar, and DJ Shinski.

To date, Simple Simon mixes continue to record over 1,000 listens a day and cumulatively over 3 million listens and 5 million downloads.

When Simon is not entertaining or working on Mixtapes, he is a father to his 11 year old son.
